Transforming Stress into Vitality

Qi Gong

Everyday we wake up with an opportunity to envision our day with what we desire rather than of worry. To do this, we need to communicate to our physical, emotional, and energetic bodies of our current safety, our peace, what we love, and greater good kindness. The later can lead us into a downward spiral of stress, anxiety, pain, and even illness. Studies show that 89% of primary care visits are stress induced. Here are a few simple and quick ways to help transform the energy causing stress, to shift into vitality.

  • Meditation. There are many great benefits to meditation, and one certainly is to calm the brain and nervous system. In turn, this creates a healthy domino effect in regulating all your other systems. When we meditate and manifest the day ahead that we want, we are telling our bodies that we will be at peace and everything will be done with ease. Our bodies thrive off of knowing it is safe and not in a fight or flight situation. We can revisit our mind throughout the day to keep it on a healthy path, and catch ourselves if it wanders into delusional territory.

  • Tapping. Our bodies are mapped with energy lines called meridian channels. Each channel is responsible for a certain organ or system of health and wellness. Our main central point is called our K 27 or Kidney 27 that is located below the collarbone above the breasts. By thumping or tapping into this area for thirty seconds or so, we can revive the systems and open up the channels providing energy abundance. There are many other points that we can target for specific reasons that can free up any blocked, stagnant, or stressed energy. Your energy professional can help you further.

  • Beginner Qi Gong/Tai Chi. Making motions with your body to encourage flow and connection restores our body similar as control, alt, delete does to a computer. My favorite morning move is to stand tall and then bend the knees, move the arms and hands down to gather up energy from the earth and place it into the heart, and then move the arms and hands above the head to gather up the energy from the heavens to place it into the heart. Repeat these movements with the intention for a few minutes daily. This fuels your energy system by connecting to the available natural high vibrational frequency. The by-products include release of tension, stress, and fear.
